Privacy notice

This notice explains information handling associated with this website and direct editorial correspondence.

Who is responsible

Teammeteortreluim Ltd, 9 Meridian Court, Cambridge CB2 1RX, United Kingdom, company no. 15620374, is responsible for the personal information it handles through this website and its correspondence. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.

Website access

Serving a webpage involves processing technical request information such as an IP address, requested resource, time and browser-related information. Hosting and security services may process this information to deliver the site, diagnose errors and protect systems. This website's own code does not include advertising pixels, third-party analytics or visitor profiling.

Where technical information is processed for reliable delivery and security, the basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website, balanced against visitors' rights. We do not use this information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Local message preparation

The contact tool constructs a message inside your browser. Its fields are not submitted to a server by the website, and the tool does not store their contents in localStorage. Copying places text on your device's clipboard when permitted. Downloading creates a plain-text file on your device. Clipboard contents, downloaded files and any browser-managed form restoration remain under your device and browser controls.

If you subsequently send an email, that is a separate action using your selected email service. We then receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address and question. Do not send sensitive personal information, confidential aircraft records or material you are not entitled to disclose.

Correspondence and legal bases

We use correspondence to respond to questions, investigate corrections and maintain appropriate records of our interactions. Our usual basis is legitimate interests in handling enquiries and maintaining accurate editorial content. Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, that obligation is the basis. We do not add correspondents to a marketing list through this tool.

Storage, recipients and transfers

Website hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf, subject to applicable arrangements. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.

Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, editorial accountability and applicable legal requirements. Technical records should be retained only for operational and security needs. If a service involves international transfers, applicable data-protection requirements and safeguards must be observed. Contact us for information relevant to a particular enquiry.

Browser preferences

The cookie-preferences page can save an essential-only selection in localStorage. It contains no name, email address or message text. See the Cookies and storage notice for the storage key, purpose and removal instructions.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law provides rights to access, rectify or erase personal information, restrict processing, object to processing and receive certain information in a portable form. These rights are not absolute. Where processing relies on consent, consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send requests to the email address above. We may need proportionate information to confirm identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contacting us first is welcome but is not a condition of exercising that right.

Following an external source link takes you to a separate website with its own privacy practices. This notice may be revised if the site's functions or processing arrangements change. The current edition is identified at the top of this page.
